Online, the cornerman selects CORNER FOR A MATE in the Co-op Career menu and enters the code supplied by the fighter. Co-op careers have three separate save slots, and you can bring an existing career into co-op.
The cornerman's timing matters: hitting the sweet spot when banging the mat gives the fighter a short boost, while missing makes his guard slip. This is an active role between and during rounds.
